Not sure, plexiglass for side and rear windows, no ac or heat, no door windows, no mufflers, no airbags. I would not want to drive it on the road...

Hum... apart from mufflers, seems like it could be done... Nice car!
I had 964 and 993 cup cars with street registrations in Europe... great track day toys on R rubber... no truck etc...

I did not register the car this year. I think with mufflers you could license the car depending on your state regs.

I believe the class is GTB. And It was expensive to build ) : The cage alone is some of the best work Ive ever seen.

Beautiful build!
Koni rules (the general basis for GTB) I believe did not permit changing the control arms.
I will pass the word on to a few in our circle who are looking.
Good luck with sale.

Control arms are listed as a collision repair part in the Porsche manual for the standard 996 C2 so PCA CR "should" accept them even in stock. But this is the typical BS of why I am not racing with PCA anymore. I got tired of getting bumped from class to class becuase I started going fast.

I came across this on the Grand Am site.

Koni rules state for 996:
OEM two-piece lower control arms allowed. Allowed GT3 adjustable rear toe link.

The original purpose of GTB was a catch all class for modified street based 996's and 997's coming from ALL other series, not just Koni. They are pushing themselves right back into the same place they were before with no place for cars from USERA, NASA, EMRA and other groups.
