Oh really? Let's see, midpack team at best in Benetton. Schumacher comes over from Jordan wins 2 for the team.

Goes to Ferrari, the most recognized name in all of motorsports, BUT had not won anything in nearly a quarter century. A decade later, under the Great One himself, they win 5 WDC and more than 5 WCC.

Perhaps he carried that backmarker on his back along with the entire team at some points in his career.

Pete please.

Schumi won only one WDC without the Championship winning car (1994) and that was with four other team mates during that season so the 2nd driver was never constant having a good chance of scoring points. Had J.J. been healthy and being able to drive for the whole season like that, he would've finished way up there and Benetton would've been Championship winning car on that season also.

You know as well as the rest of us what are the biggest reasons for Schumi's success.
One of the is currently a consultant, one retired and one lifted a stupid poor Honda to the same level of dominance as what he did with Ferrari.

All of Schumi's Championships came with Rory Byrne and Ross Brawn and J.Todt brought them to Ferrari and lifted that team from it's slump.

Since we're talking about MS, stiff neck has been tracking his motorcycle again, I guess the neck isn't that stiff as it once was...

Guess it's why it's a team effort.
Can't go fast if the car don't go, turn and stop well.

And yet won SEVEN world championships, more than anyone else has ever.

Fernanda Alonsettte will remain a 2 time WDC for the rest of her career.

Talk about irony, waffling and deliberate waiting and waiting and non committments!!! I had to put my WDC pick in escrow with a SUPER MODERATOR, mind you, not just a moderator, but a SUPER MODERATOR, because of this clown. Only after weeks did he commit and hours before the 1st race of the year.
