Without opening Pandora's box here...IIRC, the issue involved Miss Alonso's denial of any knowledge of the stolen information, especially in light of discussions and txt messages with Pedro De La Rosa (test driver), followed by her Academy Award winning performance in blackmailing McLaren in order to gain her release.
Or
Had Schumacher's engine not (very uncharacteristically) blown up at Suzuka, I think Schumacher would have won # 8, so given that statement, I hardly classify that as 'destroyed'

Santander to announce Ferrari deal
By Jonathan Noble Tuesday, September 8th 2009, 16:15 GMT
Ferrari will announce its sponsorship deal with Spanish banking giants Santander at Monza on Thursday, confirming a deal that was first revealed by AUTOSPORT in July last year.
Ferrari is to hold a press conference ahead of the Italian Grand Prix with Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo and the president of the Bank of Santander, Emilio Botin.
The Santander alliance comes amid continued speculation that Spaniard Fernando Alonso is also on his way to Ferrari, although it is not known if an announcement about the Maranello team's 2010 driver plans will be made at Monza this weekend.
Ferrari has already stated that it is waiting for Felipe Massa to be fully fit for the start of next season, and it has a contract with Kimi Raikkonen too - although there is a chance this could be bought out.
Santander entered Formula 1 in 2007 with the McLaren team, on the back of its signing of Alonso, and its contract with the Woking-based team runs until the end of this year

So who's going to pick up title sponsorship at Maclaren?
Should be interesting to see Renault's pace next year.
Wonder how good Kubica is at setting up a car.
Will Fernando Ferrari grow up like Hamilton has grown?

2. If Renault is in it next year, Pending FIA investigation and hearing later this month.
3. Still unknown how good Kubica is at set up. He's got to be a #1 and I don't believe he ever got that at BMW as for some unknown reason, Heidfeld, being German and all, seemed (at least from the outside) to get the preferential treatment from BMW.
4. Kudos to Hamilton as I believe this year has been a humbling experience and he has grown as a person and driver. He has also driven much smarter and not forced the issue as he did in the past and is not making the unforced errors he used to make. I see Hamilton/McLaren and Ferrari back at the top next year.
Finally, this must seem like Christmas to A. Wayne. The much anticipated "Fernando to Ferrari" is finally going to be unwrapped this weekend and only 3 years later than predicted .

Ms. Alonso is a polarizing gal within the team and has shown to:
1. Always on the lookout for a better deal/greener pastures
2. A cancer on a team
The scoreboard still shows 7-2.

Love the 3rd picture..especially the look on Piquet Jr's face...
Not quite sure exactly what Luca is thinking here, so we'll have to wait until next year to see how this turns out.
