Default Brake rotor thickness chart?

Does anyone have a chart showing the brake rotor thickness (new and minimum) of all Porsche models and years?

It's usually stamped into the rotors themselves, atleast the min. thickness is.

I think its 2mm if I remember correctly. ours generally (many models) start out at 32mm and goe down to the limit of 30mm. Thats proably the right percentage if you have a bigger or narrower rotor. Viking is right it is stamped on the most rotors of all cars.

I suspect that Bill Verburg may have that info.

The stamps can be very difficult to read, if not impossible at times. A chart, if available, would be a valuable aid in performing tech inspections.

Bob, who is BV?

Mark is correct; almost all Porsche rotors have a 2mm wear limit. Just measure them on the surface at the outer edge for an accurate value to determine wear.

Hangs out on the 993 Forum, and at times come here. Has a wealth of brake and wheel info (and more I'm sure). He lives in Upstate NY, but not as "up" as you. Bought my Trailex too. His name will get a PM to him if you want to ping him.

Easiest would be calling your local Porsche dealer and ask service manager.
