They should be talkin' to Davidson, who was always fastest of the 3 Honda drivers in testing, Friday practice (when they were allowed).
Hey, he also developed the Honda, soon to become, Brawn car just last year.
I do not think he ever had a chance with Honda failing as they did.
I don't think he ever got offered a ride cuz he's still under contract???!!!???
Maybe Ross is saving him for Rubes' retirement

+2. I was just thinking about Kubica yesterday as a good choice assuming no one buys the BMW team. However, I would think he would be a highly sought after for other teams as well.

Does Kubica have the expertise and experience to develop a car? Yes he is fast. But the development of the 09 BMW has been less than successful. Is this partially attributed to the drivers?

BMW obviously didn't want to put forth the effort to build back up to where they were last year or better. Which is why they threw in the towel already on next season. BMW had a good car last year and started off poorly this year just like all of the rest of the manufacturers and especially those who were in the running for the championship last year. That combined with a lukewarm commitment to the sport is the reason for BMW's demise, I doubt had much to do with the drivers. The Ferrari's and McLaren's are back, and the Renault's are getting there because all three are wholeheartedly committed.
Just my opinion though, I don't think there will be many options better than having Kubica on the team as the lead guy to see where the car is NOW and then building for the future. Though he is a bit complainy.

LOL -- its a possibility is all I can get -- announcers on the PA this morning at Mosport are talking it up about Summerton testing and developing the USF1 chassis. Havent heard anything about Edwards as of yet.

I wonder if USF1 is the reason that Summerton seems to have recently found adequate funding for the rest of this year's Atlantic series. If they've already signed him, it would be very smart to finance him for the remainder of this year. Too bad he's not in GP2.
