I don't want to minimize the many other aspects of the event, but to quantify the value of the instruction I received from Dave, Cory and Randy, I thought I would share this summary observation from my PBOX data (finally downloaded this morning)...
Patrick's best lap in my car was 7.1 seconds quicker than my baseline lap times. My baseline is taken from day 1, session 1, laps 5 - 7, which were all within .1 seconds of each other.
But when measured against my best overall lap, Patrick's best lap was 2.6 seconds quicker. In other words, I achieved an improvement of 4.5 seconds from the instruction.
Given that MSR is my "home" track, I'd say that a 4.5 second improvment on a 1.7 mile track is phenomenal! Beyond the lap times, however, I definitely feel more confident with higher entry speeds in the high-speed turns, and using the throttle to rotate the car.
Thanks Dave!
Thanks Cory!
Thanks Randy!

Thank you Glen! What a memorable event! A sincere honor to be on board.
A fine group of passionate track enthusiasts and great leadership made for an incredible educational and intense event...
Happy to put faces to names (working on the names to cars, now!)
In return, hopefully I captured a bit of it for all.
The link below is to unedited shots. I have over 2.5K images, and figured I'd let you rumage through and relive a bit of the event.
Same shots, different instructors, in some cases...
To those who have requested images of your cars, let me know whether you can get them off of this web link.
Otherwise I will go through and simply pull your images. Again, non-inclusive -- just wanted to get the posting going!
Glen -- you rock! That was a BLAST!!!
Enjoy!

An interesting sidenote: looking at my data he entered Big Bend a full 5 MPH faster! Because I overslowed, I was able to get to WOT earlier, so I only lost the time he was rolling 5MPH faster from entry to apex. This is a perfect example of overslowing costing time, as Pat was .2 seconds faster for this segment despite me catching up to his speed on the straight because I went to full power a little earlier.

Stock 996 GT3, Hoosier R6.
Lol! The car is blazing fast I had our local guru rework the setup since I changed tire sizes, and Pat thought the car was hooked up.

BTW, Josh, I still owe you cash for seat shipping! I'm on it this week. I keep getting wrapped up in life...
