Default What is the best and quickest way to learn car control?......

I am a firm believer of a skid pad........ hands down.......

Took the Skippy car control clinic and then jumped into my full race prepped 911........

So far.......3 years later the car is still intact......

(OK, I know you are all thinking that I am driving too slow......)

Any other way to improve car control skills?.........

Read the first Speed Secrets book for the theory on finding the limit, then go look for it. Just stay away from armco though...

I agree with Redlineman about snow by the way. We get a lot of it where I grew up and man did I find the ditch often... darn beer....

John and Freddy, I agree with you...... I love fresh snow and I take full advantage of it in my office parking lot with my Cayenne......

Fred, I am reading the 1st SS book as you previously suggested......lots of good pointers there......

Cayenne probably won't teach you anything. It drives for you. Rent a cheapo rwd car or pick up next time a storm hits and then go have fun

Great way to get acquainted with your new surroundings after 2 years of sub-tropical living. Well done
