Wrestling instead of Watkins Glen
Instead of the race at the Glen, does anyone else have a wrestling match going on on ESPN Classic istead of the race?My Dish Network Menu/Schedule shows the race came on at noon, but I got wrestling.

Hmm, I have looked at every ESPN channel I have and nothing. Online schedule and the live screen schedule indicates channel 143 'Classic'
Must be cause I live in the redneck sticks.

Its on the ESPN channel as you said, however the on screen schedule says Sports Center is on. Strange, when I surfed all the ESPN channels I didn't see any racing at all.
Rght before the WG race was to air was a drag racing event with the WG to follow, but then the wrestling showed up. Go figure...I got it now. Thanks for the heads up.

Just got back from my first Watkins Glen NASCAR race. Girlfriends parents have a nice RV spot on the entry to the inner loop and tickets in the 1st section of the pit terrace. They've been going to races there for nearly 40 years and finally I was able to come join them. My gf also made it back to the glen for the first time in 15 years or so.
What a great weekend for racing, other than the rain on Sunday. Not too hot and a lot of cloud cover at times so you didn't bake. I was really impressed watching the NASCAR guys muscle those cars around. If you like racing, you owe it yourself to go check them out some time up there. When they get it right, those cars just fly through that inner loop. They get around that short course very very well. Sprint Cup lap times were faster than Rolex GT, so what I was seeing with my eyes was no joke.
