[QUOTE=jrgordonsenior;6778302]doh i should've kept my mouth shut. that would be 2735 with a 190 lb driver and a 1/4 tank of gas. mainly CF/FG bits including the doors and roof and HVAC delete. it's i completely gutted, no dash. i've got another 20lbs that i can get rid of but i am putting in an accusump and cool suit system.

Not in NASA out here today. Only PRC group runs, which is a hold over from the years we ran the BMW/Porsche Challenge races *(those were reallly fun).
Other than PRC running their own group, as Karlooz says, "its a wasteland".
I would love to get out to the nationals, but with the economy as it is, that aint going to happen, plus I need to run a GTS race this season, and that hasnt happend with my involvement with SCCA. Maybe next year.

Have you dyno'd your 3.4? I'd like to know your numbers as we're starting to build a baseline for our 996 Spec class. The highest reading to date has been 266 RWHP for a stock 3.4 with OEM headers but open exhaust, stock ECU, and lightweight flywheel.....

We're considering options for flashing our ECU's in this spec class. Did you use a off-the-shelf ECU flash or custom tuning on a dyno to get to 280? That's a really desirable goal for our cars....

of the shelf GIAC tune. not many out there that will do a flash for a cable throttle 996. i would love to get a custom tune so i can run race gas.
