Default FS 2003 911 Carrera GTB, GTS4 Racecar with X51 Engine

SOLD

FS 2003 911 Carrera GTB, GTS4 Racecar with X51 Engine
Hate to, but need to. This car is well-sorted, very well-sorted. Built, supported and maintained by Autometrics in Charleston, SC. Its’ record really speaks for itself. It is always a front-runner and has made me look really good as a driver. I’ve spent over $140,000 optimizing and perfecting this car. I personally think it’s the best GTB and GTS4 car in the country. It’s less than 2700 pounds dry weight and could be a little less if needed. I’ve left the heater in the car for races that are in the rain. It keeps the windscreen from fogging and is very effective. The car fits perfectly in PCA GTB class and NASA GTS4 class. I recently ran it in ST2 class by adding a little weight. The car wins just about everything I’ve raced in. It also has track records at VIR, Road Atlanta, Roebling, CMP and I pretty certain at Daytona in GTB class. It has 325 horsepower at the rear wheels and feels and handles like a GT3 cup, without the major expenses for the engine and transmission, etc. I recently bought a new X51 off the shelf for 10k.
• 18 - 1st place wins
• 3 - 2nd place wins
• Never placed lower than 2nd in any race.
• VIR 2:03, Road Atlanta 1:35, Roebling Road 1:15, Daytona 2:03, CMP 1:40.
I will also include a day of coaching in the car for the buyer and a ½ day of coaching at Roebling with professional Grand AM driver and podium finisher Cory Friedman. The car includes:
• Complete GT3 Cup Brake System w/ new Pads and Rotors
• LW Braille Battery
• Underdrive Pulley
• Modified rear fender wells to run larger tires
• Complete Traqmate System with video and RMP input w/ mounts
• Cup Brake Air Spoilers and Upper Brake Ducts
• Complete Motorola Radio System with crew headphones
• New crate X51 engine installed Feb 09
• CoastFab Custom Exhaust System
• Carbon Fiber Hood
• Carbon Fiber Doors
• Cup Front Bumper with Splitter
• Cat Bypass Pipes
• Cup Rear Deck Lid
• Cup Wing
• GT3 Rocker Panels
• LW Flywheel
• 1 Set Hoosier Rains With Stock Rims Used Once
• 2 Sets BBS 3 Piece Magnesium Center Wheels
• Inside and Outside Kill Switches
• Custom Wheel Studs
• Momo Cup Steering Wheel w/ Quick Release
• Recaro Profi Hans Drivers Seat
• Recaro Pole Position Passenger Seat
• Custom Roll Cage Painted Orange
• Complete 6 Nozzle Fire System
• Sunroof Delete Panel
• Front and Rear Tow Hooks
• Schroth Window Net
• Moton Clubsport Adjustable Suspension
• GT3 Strut Monoballs
• GT3 RS Toe Links
• Coil Springs
• Cup Sway Bars and Control Arms
• Lexan Rear Window
• EVO Cold Air System
• Cup Limited Slip Diff
• Schroth Harnesses
• Trunk Mounted Cool Shirt System With Mounted On/Off Switch
• 1.5 sets of Brand New Hoosier Slicks
• Cup Center Radiator
• Transponder
• Undertrays
• Cup Shifter Cables
I’m sure I’ve missed a few items here and there, but this is the majority of it. I’m selling everything listed for $74,000 OBO. I will deduct if there are items that you don’t want or need. But, I think it’s a great price considering the investment I have in the car and how well-sorted it is. You can get cars cheaper, but if you do everything to make it a true frontrunner, you’ll spend more money and much more time sorting it out. This is definitely a car that you can feel confident in knowing you have the equipment to win races. Thanks for looking! Roger 912-631-2248.

I've seen this car (Daytona 2008), and it's very well done and very quick. Quasi-996 Cup, really.

Are you replacing it? It seemed like you had a piece of your soul in this build. Best of luck. It's a great looking car.

Yeah, I absolutely love the car. Time to refocus on work and finances though, so I'll be taking a break from racing.

A few pics. I will get more this weekend. The car is going to be featured in a local magazine (Effingham Magazine) and I will get more pics this weekend at RRR.

Sorry to hear it. This is getting depressing. You're more than welcome to come drive with me anytime. If you can survive a Koni weekend than you'll do great with us SPBOX guys.

Gorgeous car!!

Are those "TRG spec" engines legal in GTB? They are not legal in Koni.

Beautiful car. Would have been fun to have run with you in GTS4 this weekend to put that "best GTS4 car in the country" thought to the test.
