As a Cayenne S owner... i can tell you that when they introduced the Cayenne back in 03 or 04 I was crapping all over it... I bought mine in 05 and love it. I can't afford a Panamera and don't like sedans, but i am sure that the car will be a huge success. Now should it be rebadged as the Phaeton?

Chad, FredC,
I take the Panamera very seriously. As a fan of the fast sedan (...S8, E55/E63, etc) I will definitelty take a look at one. Not wild about the rear end asthetics, but the front looks good and I'm sure it's quick.
(FredC, see you at Road America?)

I'll add this - the owner of our company was around Monte Carlo a few weeks back when they had a press intro. He had a "fleet" of "about 20-30 of them" pass him on the highway - said they were stunning.
This is a guy who is a very good industrial designer, a very good eye, and owns an '84 911 Cab, had a few other 911s as well as a boodle of classic cars over the years.
FWIW.

I saw a test fleet of 6 in AZ a couple months ago and thought they were butt ugly.
The interior looked like it belonged in a Japanese spaceship.
I've heard they drive great though.

I wonder how that thing would be on the TRACK? Chad, did it push a little? LSD? Any mods on this car? What tires, sport cups? What oil viscosity would make it the quickest? Or perhaps it would make a good tow vehicle for my RACE car.
Carry on, we should be good to go.
