Paolo, Fred C, Gary R, and Sean F,

I know you guys from nothing other than this stupid list (an an intimate understanding of what it takes to drive a torsion-bar car). You'll sound way too much like the Virginia crowd I run with - TedA, Werkstadt, Jeff Curtis, 997inVB (he'll be back soon), Cosmo, etc. We have to trek north to meet and run with you guys - Glen, Limerock, whatever, it does not matter; and you need to let us know when you come down to VIR or Summit. Gotta meet, drive together, drink a few, trade lies.

Don, it's likely we (some of us anyway) will be at the Summit race this year if all goes well. Would look forward to meeting you guys.

Paolo,

It's nice to see you're not letting that dentistry thing interfere with your racing.

We miss you at the local DE events.

Paolo, not backing out. Just got to get the car ready and a few dollars in the bank.

Ted, you're right. The truth is trouble enough.

My favorite part of the deal!
I have also had a student say, "this is my first time to the track."
I ask, "how long have you had your Corvette?"
Student replies, "three weeks."
Tucker inquires as to any modifications to which the student replies,"chip, cams, and exhaust."
Instructor says a prayer, then asks what the students goals and expectations are and the student says, "I want to see what this thing can do." Instuctor is scared completely to death, and I remind my student that I have a lovely wife and young son.
Instructor and student get in the car, and student asks, "do you think I should I turn off the traction control?"
"No, that would not really be a great idea."
you instructed my last student at Road Atlanta too

Ahhh......good times they are
