How is a black run group driver............

asked to become and instructor?

Is it based on the driving skills, politics or pure luck?

Just wondering........ no need to flame me........:icon107:

Your screwed now....the moment you ask the question you are now on the double supersecret list of those that won't be asked.

Sorry.

Remember the rules...don't talk about fight club.

BostonDMD 07-16-2009 06:32 PM

Steve, just a simple question...........really..... you know me......:)

Dave...... I guess with my reputation I may never be asked anyway..... and I can live with that.......

I was just asking for those "few others" that were wondering........:bigbye:

Why, are you interested in becoming an instructor? That's usually the first step. A large region close to you hosts a winter "instructor training seminar" - that might be a good start. :)

smankow 07-16-2009 06:36 PM

just having some fun with you, Paolo.

BostonDMD 07-16-2009 06:45 PM

Van.......you know me....... do you really think I would make a good instructor?.... with my broken english and everything.....

Although...... I have asked a lot of questions on RL........ :)

As far as the region close to me...... I have a couple of friend involved in it.....and it is not an easy process......;)

Steve.........back at you buddy.........:D

You must be a super-stupendous drover of the highest magnatude and get the OG Racing Safe Drover Award and a 13 within two weeks of each other..

the old saying goes, "... if you have to ask..." Don't ask, they will let you know when they're ready for you.

Paolo,

Given your Italianess, how exactly would you communicate to a student without using your hands? :p

LOL!!!

Many times you have to express an interest and be "invited". Let your instructor know you have an interest and/or the chief instructor of your local club, and that usually gets the ball rolling.

I can probably achieve the 13 with my new suspension and everything if I push hard enough......as far as the rest, I would have to hire GR as a coach.....:roflmao:

Pete, yes my Italianess would involve me using my hands..... but than again, not really crucial when in the right seat........:)

In all honesty.......this is not about me wanting to become an instructor.........

I was just wondering about the process.........

You join a web discussion board and then call yourself a professional racing instructor.
You are now a driving instructor.

Maybe it's his cologne.
