FTA:
“It is definitely the worldwide economic crisis which concerns us more,” says Dany Bahar, the head of Ferrari’s commercial and brand-development department. “The team knows what they have to do to improve the results of F1, and one year cannot delete a long winning history.”
It's one season, hardly a collapse.

It may not be a collapse but being a huge Porsche fan and seeing Ferrari getting ripped up in the papers makes me happy!!!
I guess we have some Ferrari fans here.

I would call Porsche losing LeMans to Panoz more of a collapse

“Part of the fascination of F1 is that the cars are so whiz-bang,” says Bob Varsha, an F1 announcer for Speed TV. “It’s a space race.”

Hummmmmm, Let's see...... hachett job on Ferrari, hachett job on Schumacher..... my guess is that A. Wayne is the author of this piece. Hey Wayne, all that was missing is the sentence where you predict Alonso will soon come in as the (Wall Street term) "White Knight" and restore Ferrari to their former glory.
One down year, but still in the top half of the teams is hardly a collaspe. Perhaps he should write a piece on McLaren.

If you regularly read the Journal, you'll remember the day after Le Mans their little blurb that has some significant number in sports claimed it was 50 years between Jack Brabham winning the World Championship and his son winning the "F1" race at Le Mans the previous day. Uh huh.
