Sometime late next Thursday afternoon, but we can't get into the track for drop-offs until 8:30 PM.

Hey Dave, when are you guys leaving town? I get back in on Sunday Morning from the Glen, if I get a chance I will come see you guys.

Jenks: Wish I could make it out for the weekend but we have a race Saturday afternoon at the Glen. I do get back in town early Sunday morning so I will try to get up to the track. If I do make it out, I will go for a ride then!

Mike,

CMP was cold and wet in March. I'm sure it will be warmer next week.

Thanks for the video links. These talanted full bore racers are fast, even in Bimmers.

See you there!

[QUOTE=Veloce Raptor;6680921]Yes.

Exit pits, turn right, turn left, turn right, turn left, go down hill right, left, then right, then turn left, then turn right, turn right again, long downhill kink right, turn left, then right, under bridge, turn right again.

Lather rinse repeat.

Dave,

Cliff's Notes version ?

If you have full notes like you posted earlier for Barber available for Road Atlanta and have time to post, I (and I suspect many other folks as well) would like to see them.

Thanks

Tom, get a ride around the track with Veloce, aka Dave, when you get there. He was trained by the best how to get around Road Atlanta fast.

LMAO...yes, indeed...Tom, Seth taught me RA in (a) a rental Sentra and (b) his GT3. I think I picked it up pretty well, and would be happy to show you the track. As for notes, if time permits, I will post what IMO is a decent line. I am gonna be hecka busy between now & when I depart for Atlanta, but I will try. Come find me: I have a silver E36 M3 with Kosei K1 wheels and a (no longer valid) Texas license plate "A BLUR". There will be a dark blue tinted out 3/4 ton Yukon XL with several unusual antannae on it parked nearby...

Seth, I will be there until end of day Sunday--it would be GREAT to see you, and I owe you a drive in my M3. I suspect I will depart around 4ish, depending on my student load, in order to get 3-4 hours of towing in. That way I can still make it home by Monday night to see my little one. You have my cell #. Holla when you land, and I'll make sure the M3 is fueled and ready to go.

Dave,

Thanks for the track tour this afternoon. You inspire confidence with your car control at the edge, and even more so with your control beyound the edge

My passeger time with you will make my first time at RA tomorrow more meaningful.

Thanks again.

Seth,

Dave learned well !!

Jenk,

See you out there in the morning. Looking forward to driving your home track.

It was a pleasure. You also got to see what NOT to do in T7.

No, Seth, we couldn't get the M3 to stall, unlike the Sentra. Great job today at the Glen.
