I'm interested in both NASA (with my current car) as well as SRF. But I've looked at the race weekend schedules for these other series and the track time doesn't even come close to PCA. It's usually only one practice session, qualifying, and a 30 minute race each day. Needless to say, a typical PCA race weekend is several practice sessions, a practice race, two sprints, and an enduro.

True that it's tough to beat PCA for track time. The only downside I've ever seen with PCA was that there are so few races nearby. I've been to 5 SCCA races this year and the total time I've been towing is less than 12 hours.

I think the double dipping of PCA and NASA GTS is a good way to get more track time if you want to run PCA.

SRF is a lot of fun, at least from the little experience I had with the Skippy cars.

Mike, would you let me know what you find out? Grazie.....

From what I can tell Conway, NH (where Motion is) is about 100 miles due north of Boston, quite a ride from here.

SRF are very different from teh Skippy cars. Less power and heavier along with the full bodywork.

Right now in qualifying at the Sprints the top 11 are in teh same second and 40th is only 4 seconds back.

I don't have any of my own video as I just picked the car up this spring and the video system has been a backburner item to a couple other things but here are others.

You can find some more by following to his other videos.

Let me find the times for you Gary. They are a tick quicker than SM usually. 105 hp and 1670 pounds makes them on the slower half of the SCCA cars.

2:13.9 at the Glen, that's moving pretty good in a 105HP car!! Almost same HP/Wgt ratio as a D class car but obviously better aero and cornering ability.

Aero wise they arne't the best in the world but I'm sure it's at least a bit better than the D car. The biggest difference is brakes and cornering. These things have pretty awesome brakes. And I say that coming from a full aero formula car.

I've done a lot of SCCA racing and some of the funnest, most competitive I've seen is Spec Miata. Deep fields, good drivers and much cheaper than our Cups....especially if you wreck it
