The fact there there are THREE world class tracks at one facility often splits the vote, hence none of the tracks get any respect.
PS: I'd love some input on the best UNKNOWN tracks for DEs (meaning the tracks that are not household names, but are a real experience for DEs).

Facilities are a little shaky but Nelson Ledges is fast and fun.Probably one of the highest avg lap speed tracks around and fairly safe.
They do continue to improve it however.
If you've got the time(and money)do them all,then draw your own conclusions.
I always look forward to going to different and new tracks,no matter what others may think.

Road Atlanta (for the thrill)
Laguna Seca ( for the corkscrew of course)
Infenion (never been, but it's on my list)
Barber (probably the prettiest track in America)
Texas World Speedway (because it makes you tingle)
Watkins Glen (another one I haven't done but I need to)
Road America (all of the above)
Daytona (nobody else has banking like that)
Miller (I've only heard good things)
Best of luck. Sounds like a great trip.

No one has mentioned Daytona, maybe not the most technical track - but for me the most exciting intimidating track I've driven. The rest of your list should also include

Haven't been to the ones in Texas - can't speak for those!!!

If you make it to Northern California to try Laguna Seca and Infineon, you should try to do a day at Thunderhill (in Willows on Interstate 5 N. of Sacramento. While not famous it is a great track for DE and has a lot of events.

Recently a bunch of us did a DE with CVR at Monticello Motor Club.
I, for one, enjoyed it very much and would recommend people try it if they get the opportunity.

Sebring is my home track so I can tell you all about it. I have a few days at Barber and really enjoyed it too with all the elevation changes.

Hands down the best single list on this thread, however, the only one you must have accidentally let slip by is VIR (fast, elevation, plenty of run off, nice facility, with some tingly too)

I sure did Tucker. VIR is on my short list of things to do. I'm hoping to run the 13 hour enduro there later this year.
mdrums, I'm not a big fan of Homestead. Like you, I have a few laps at Sebring and I found Homestead boring. And I got hit there, so I don't have very fond memories of the place. I would love to hear your feedback after you go.

Have not bee to LC Mt Tremblant or Calabogie yet, but have heard nothing but good things about both.
Ha havent't heard anyone say Pocono yet! LMAO
BTW FASTRNU, that sounds like a great idea to get into the RV and go! How much more freedom could you ask for! That would be fun to do some day!

Favorites that I've driven...
Miller Motorsports Park (outside Salt Lake City, UT)
- Fast and also technical, with absolutely amazing facilities. I raced there last year with an engine that was way down on power (bent valves) and still left there very pleased with the track. I'll be out there again for NASA Nationals in September, and I'm really looking forward to it.
Motorsports Park Hastings (Hastings, NE)
- A smaller technical track with some fast segments that are quite a rush, even in a little 944 NA. With the exception that there are no garages, it has great facilities and is an excellent track to camp at. The track owner (George) is usually out there on the club weekends and he really makes it a good time for everyone.
High Plains Raceway (outside Denver, CO)
- Lots of elevation and turns, and it's a good balance of speed and handling. A driver who's on top of his game can be very hard to pass in most parts of this track. It has no real facilities yet though.
