Default A track record ending for my 968

As some of you know I crashed my 968 in the last lap at WGI this past weekend. However it went out with a new track record for 944 SuperCup.
It managed a 2:13.986, weighing in at approx 3235lbs and 222whp.

I've already sorted out a new car, a 944 S2 Firehawk and can't wait to drive it at G52 in 2 weeks time.
Maybe I'll se some of you there.

If anyone needs any parts for a 968 let me know.

So far there is a 6 speed trans with Guard GT 50/80 LSD that was new last September. A torque tube. Front Brakes. Torsion bars. Seats from both cars.
Passenger rear side light unit. Headlamps and motors.
Many off the other parts I will be keeping as spares for the new car.

What's G52? Does that mean you're no longer in SP3/944SC?

Congrats and condolences. You didn't by chance say 'watch this' into the radio just before that did you?

You can't get rid of me that easily from 944 SuperCup/SP3 LOL!!

G52 is Group 52, it's my 1st time with them. It's by invitation till they know you.
Basically it's 2 days of open track for 52 qualified drivers.

ROFL !!! Actually my 1st thought once I stopped was, "Well I guess I'm going to be selling my JCW GP to pay for a new race car".
Followed by smelling for gas and hitting the inside kill switch. Being trapped upside down in a car sure does let you know whether your really addicted to racing or not, see you at the track

I saw the car at the glen. Very happy you where ok.

BTW what was the website that listed all the current track records? I stumbled across it a while back but could find it again.

www.rennpoints.com

I maintain it so let me know if you think a record is incorrect.

Thanks, I'm was very lucky.

The track record is for 944 SuperCup, not SP3

http://northeast.44cup.com/results.shtml

My best lap though in the car was when it weighed 3100lbs, it did a 2:11.7

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8SzW...e=channel_page

I sure will miss the car
