Hey all Porsche's are chick cars. The curvy lines, the hips, the high maintenance...
Good to see you mingling with the riffraff here, Steve. Missed ya!

OK, you can pet the alcantara, but other than that, keep your hands to yourself!

Prior owner logged 5K miles on it. A few track days; mostly street use. Basic zero-option car (which is why I opted for this one; no extra navigation gadgets or other buttons to confuse the driver!). No track-related mods. I think the car will be far enough ahead of my ability to stretch it that the only thing on the radar for my own adds are safety related (harness bar and seats).

996 is for sale, but I may keep it as a street car. The black/white combination would improve the appearance of my garage

Poetry OK, but apparently Porsches can become art as well

I think I heard that local TWS instructor kept his old SRX7 in this way also.

I did the same, I could not part with my white cab, too much fun as a daily driver. Sell it if you get a good price, otherwise hold it.

That gives a whole new meaning to "narrow body".

Oh yeah, I'm coming up with all kinds of rationale and potential for that scenario: hmmm.... if I replace the stock GT3 seats with something that will work with a harness bar, I wonder if I could then transfer them to the 996?"

Don't worry Mike, Russell is just showing off.

Again!

And I mean that in the best possible way!
