I was a slow learner on the gearing, getting used to the new car and track at the same time. During day 2 I was using 2nd less in favor of being in 3rd already after 1 or 2 downshifts. Next time there, I'll try 3rd and by then my car will have the 3-4k miles it needs to be out of "break in" ECU mode, so I'll have full power and torque. Will enjoy going deeper into the T16 with some trail braking HT down to 3rd and leave it there.

It's funny, but when we finally got home (1 extra hour due to Danbury traffic) my son and I mentioned to each other how we were running through the track on the way home and now have it stored in memory.

I didnt run the long track this time but did North and South independently (Big savings on brake pads ).

I prefer the handling nature of the South Course, but love the corkscrew and power oversteering turns in the north (plus the bravery of the fast - 130mph+ kink before the hairpin) on the North part.

I finally got a chance to download my video. This was the last Red session of Friday (day 2) - track was pretty empty.

Sorry about the wind noise - that little GoPro Hero isn't all it's cracked up to be.
