2009 Monaco Grand Prix
Looks like a dry weekend....
The Monaco Grand Prix weather forecast indicates we’re not going to have a repeat of last year’s heavy rain this time.
Meteo France, official suppliers of weather forecasts to the F1 teams, predicts three days of dry running, though Saturday and Sunday will be cloudy.
The European weather rainfall radar shows no signs of rain in the region over the coming days either.
According to Weather Underground temperatures will be in the low 20s (C) on all three days. It does point to a very slim chance (20%) of rain on Sunday, but the safe bet at this stage is for three days of dry running.

Brawn/Button is the obvious choice but since it's Monaco and driver's talent matters more, I'm saying Vettel, guy has more than Button does.
Recent news: Ferrari lost the injunction against spending gap.
I don't think anyone really expected them to win it and the gap won't be implemented as it is since it's so far off from big teams' current budgets. One more thing for Max to rub against big teams' faces though...

I think that Vettel is the obvious choice, seeing how going fast at Monaco requires both talent and *****. Because it is more of a mechanical grip circuit though, I think that some of the aero-challenged teams may be faster than on previous circuits. Ferrari and Renault come to mind. Brawn should go well, but I would be surprised if Button can get on pole. That leaves my dark-horse pick of Webber. I think that he has shown fantastic qualifying ability and could put it on the pole. If so, he would be very hard to pass.
One other mention is Barichello. After feeling like he was screwed in Spain, he should be driving like a man possessed this weekend. If he does not respond, then I think that he has lost a step and maybe this could be his last season. It's now or never for him.

I forgot that Monaco is Button's "home race".
I think you'll see quite a few folks going very light (trying for a front row), perhaps more than usual.
I still think Newey is the best in the business. I am guessing the RBR performance will not suffer, since they do not currently run the 'double' diffuser, and they appear to have excellent overall grip.
Still fascinated that he designs on a drafting table, no computer.

It had become sort of 'forum tradition' that Sir A.Wayne would start threads like this before each GP.
It's a bit sad that he wandered off the reservation, I do miss some of the epic ownage threads he was single handedly responsible for, the near NAMBLA regard for Miss Alonso...you know, the good times.

As far as Wayne is concerned, it was comedy at first, but he got to be too personal with his retorts and caused threads to go down hill fast or be locked out altogether. That's not what were looking for on a forum. Debate all you want, but if someone has a view that is contrary to yours, at least respect it have support for your argument, not the constant twig and berry, nuts and ball BS. Just my .02
