John takes great pride in his cars.
The E46 platform is great when it's set up properly - and I believe the V-Pack cars to be just that.
Have fun!

I have committed, thanks for the support! I called Glen last night and it took him 2 seconds to tell me to race, and what was my next question? (He also helped me out with that second one, I lowballed the price on another car by half and they may have taken my offer, we'll see).
Hope to see some Rennlisters at LRP!

Great Mike! You will like the 330 at LRP. Perfect momentum car that is well balanced and easy to drive. Plus the VPack car has some pretty good tricks for a BMW on it!

In ST looks like a couple of the mid pack cars were runnning 1:43ish at Laguna seca. in a BMW 330i which has what, 275hp stock? that should be easy for you to run with these same cars at LR. Even Bryans BMW buddie, self proclaimed pro, VJ was only runing 1:44s at laguna Seca in an ST class 330i.
I think he might have squeaked out a top 10 ST finish.
Go for it. We will have someone to cheer on!!!

what are the specs on the Koni St 330is. Ive never looked at the ST prep level, but what is actually going on in that class. I know the M3s always had an advantage of HP over the 996s when I was talking to some of the teams at Laguna a few years ago. 996s were barely making 290rwhp while the M3s were making over 320rwhp and brought back to 312 with some restrictions. weights were heavy for everyone, especially the 400+HP Mustangs.
What do they look like now? the times havent changed much at laguna for the Koni cars in GS, (1:38s race times at laguna) but it seems the ST cars have closed the gap a little (running 1:41 race times at laguna) . Wonder why??
By the way, what's up with the Mini?????? what did they do to that thing???
