Just wanted to say thanks to all for a great weekend. I can't believe it has been 9 months since being on VIR and 10 months since running with Brian Smith. Good to have him and Eric back along with all the other guys that I have missed running with.

Heading up to The Glen for the CR this week and then back to VIR for that CR in about a month. Hope to see everyone there.

That is one fantastic track. The GT3, or all Porsches, were made to run on a place like that. Let it all out. It was a dream weekend.
Great job FSR PCA!

Yup, kudos to the FSR folks who put on a first class event. Can't complain with three days of sun, no missed sessions and plenty of gas receipts Expanded Passing test in the red group went very well. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

I'll ad my thanks to FSR as well for one of the best run events ever.

Great weather, great friends and a fast track.

Let's open up the passing in black also. Can't let the red guys have all the fun !!

yes..expanded passing allows me to run in Red in a slow car and not hold people up..

I think it went well

Having not been to the track in 11 months, I can say it was GREAT TO BE BACK!

The RED group passing anywhere with a point-by - should be mandatory for any PCA region holding an event. Otherwise, pull their PCA affiliation

Good to see Everybody. I love my track buddies! Good people!

TRJ - you are the man, and that car is killer...

Great weekend. New crew ran it well. Loved the open passing in red. I agree with Eddie that we need to expand it to black. Both are supposed to be instructors and advanced solo with hp being the separation.

Good to meet you Chris L. Great hanging with Ted, BKS, Matt, etc.

An awesome time. My best event @ VIR this season. I had fun dicing it up in Red. Open passing was nice to see with PCA.

I took my student out in White with me and... um, it was incredibly slow. Does anyone else think this is the case. I don't know about the Blue group, but White used to faster. Is White the new blue?

Rob,

White used to be ridiculously fast, until Ted and I moved from white to black.

Seriously, how long has it been since you drove in white? I would guess you are doing low 2s in your GT3, depending on prep level. White probably averages in the 2:30s or more.

When I run with other regions and/or groups the lower groups are actually quite fast and are quick to point by and/or make use of all the passing zones. Maybe it is because this has been the first event at VIR (for most) where the weather behaved?

Had a great time!!!! Thanks FSR....
Manny & Pete, we got a terrific test of the new passing proposal with no incidents and excellent results.
Matt, Dell, BK, Chris, Tom, Terry, TRoy, et. al. this was a very fast Red group and I was very comfortable with everyone at 175mph with new passing rules that everyone handled flawlessly.
Thanks guy's you are the best!!!!
