HA. I dropped a bolt in with the flywheel during the NOR PCA DE two weeks ago. We had to pull the trans, torque tube, and clutch/flyweel to get it out.
That was last weeks excitment.
Like Brant says, bring it up, we can slip it in (what ?)

the yellow car is gone. This is the 993 I had before that Joe missed a shift in. I bought a complete motor and need to mate the clutch/transmission to the "new" motor and reinstall it. You guys have me thinking about pulling a late night tonight and calling in "sick" tomorrow. I think there is much to do but if everything went smoothly...

I was behind you and saw that. I can't believe you guys did not touch. Thought for sure I was gonna witness a T-bone.
My long story short, motor in but in limp mode all weekend due to knock sensor issue (I think).

John H, That must have been you that I bumped into briefly in the paddock... Two young guys that stopped to bother you while you were checking your distributor belt. I kept thinking about your problem all weekend, but I'm not really an expert on 993 motronic and CEL's. Hope you get her sorted out, Are you from Ohio?

yeah, that was me. I figured out today after some research (thank you Rennlist) that my problem is the knock sensor on the right side of the engine on top. I am 99.9% that is the problem from all of the symptoms.
I am in Portsmouth (south end of the state). You on the lake?

1) John Wright (Wright Motorsports) for welding my broken header back together (and for free).
2) Dave M. and Oscar I. for standing in as my enduro crew. The cold Gatorade, tire pressure bleed, and words of encouragement were absolutely invaluable. They both unfortunately had car problems and were forced to sit the race out...
3) And finally MORPCA for putting on a great race!
