Paolo and I spent half of the sprint race together, and Dan and I spent lots of time together in the fun races and qualifier. I didn't realize who Dan was until he was next to me in the grid for the sprint race.

This was the most fun I've had driving in the fifteen years I've been doing PCA DE's.

Thanks guys

Besides the obvious differences between racing and DE, there is a quantum leap in concentration, intensity and visual awareness with racing that is missing in DE. And, I had to work my butt off for every pass.

Thanks to everyone who came by to give me words of encouragement and a special thanks to my mentor, Scott Leder.
Well done; Rick!

My first PCA race, too, and it was just magical!

Even with those Cup cars pushing me all over the place...felt like I was standing still sometimes...still was a blast!

Can't believe some of them were over 5 seconds faster on a 1.5 mile track...

Sheesh!
Maybe I should just give my DE-now-racer friends a bulk WELL DONE.

Trust me on this, much more pucker factor instructing than racing.

In racing, the driver is in control even when s..t happens......now so, when instructing.

Here is a nice shot of a future racer. He has good taste in race cars!
