Due to a bonehead maneuver I don't care to own up to at the moment, I need a new helmet in time for my track event this weekend.

I'll be at my client in Clark, NJ, then heading down to Millville on Thursday. The helmet is(was) a Bieffe F1 I think XL (maybe the number was 61 on back). I'd prefer to find an SA 2005 version of it since it was an SA2000 and I don't want to have to replace it. I could do that mail order, but if I can't find that, I feel I need to try them on.

Anyplace on the way I could stop at to try some on and buy? I know about Stable Energies, but it is 25 mi or so in the wrong direction. They are my Plan B, looking for a Plan A.

I was going to mention Stables. CDOC shop is at the track. Give them a call to see what they have in stock or at another store. BTW, I am trying to get into the event on Saturday.

CDOC is at the track? That's handy to know. Upside to SE is they are sometimes open late on Thursday. I'm guessing CDOC would have more on hand though...

I was there last week and they seem to have a good amount of inventory. They have other stores and may be able to get something by Friday's event. Give them a call. I will see you on Saturday.

Just looked it up, you are right (Dover, NJ). It is farther than Stable Energies...any thoughts on the which is better?

cdoc at the track. If they stock the duplicate size style that you're replacing, the main store will send the correct item over to the track store for your pick up. Atleast, that was offered to me when I inquired about inventory at the track.

CDOC is fine, but call them first. That way you can be certain that they will have on hand exactly what you want.

Thx. guys. Found a Bell at StableEnergies this am. Almost 50 miles round trip closer...good to know about DI though, esp on the way to Pocono sometime.
