Sorry to say it, but I just punted. The forecast got even worse today. Too long to go and too much $ invested to run it off the track. So bummed.

See you at Rd Atl in April. Z

Jenk, no cup car, but am seriously debating selling my 3 and buying an older car to set up exclusively for track use.

Well I decided to bag it for Friday.
Hope to get there after the freezing rain stops...

I called for a garage and all sold out.

I was at CMP 2 weekends ago. Freezing rain and cold wind all weekend w/ no garage in 2 out of 3 weekends is too much fun for me.

I'll see you all in Atlanta.

(I hated to cancel, VIR is great).

Bringing Big Red w/multiple cars down or your single trailer with just one?
Just me with my small trailer. Big Red won't get a test run until we head up to Calabogie for some preseaon testing (hopefully) in April.

I saw you towing up this afternoon. I was driving back from Charlotte and passed you on 85 in SC, along with several other car haulers. Jealous!

Enjoy, be safe!

Just trade with me and forget the hassle of selling and searching for a new car.

Default It Is Raining

Quite a few offs with damage at Turn 6A. This is a transition spot where the repaired track meets the older track. One good run this AM but the forcast does look very poor through tomorrow at least. But many are here sucking it up!

Ted, what can I say I'm a whimp...

I just got a call from a friend who's down there and was wondering why I didn't bring my trailer with the heater in it...

Anyway, he said there were 6 accidents so far...one included a 996 turbo he was instructing in comming out of 6A and he said his student didn't have a bad line and kept his foot out of it but it still came around...
Several other agricuttural offs as would be expected.
A bunch of people have left...

He also said the open passing test had been postponed...good thing.

I'm guessing a three hour drive tomorrow just to socialize might not be smart.
