Heard you were in today. Big Red looks good.
Bringing Big Red w/multiple cars down or your single trailer with just one?

At this point I'm still planning on being there but it's only a 90 minute pull so...
As said above VIR can be funny w/ the weather. You might have to sit out a session or two if you don't want to run in the rain but you can frequently sneak in several sessions even when the forecast would leave you to believe otherwise.
Find someone with a garage and make a new friend! I'll have the heat pump going in my trailer so if you get tired of hanging out in the mens room (it's heated, get your mind out of the gutter) come on by.

Eric, you would agree that a rainy day at the track beats a good day at the office still.

Track is different than last year. They've done lots of work over the winter. Lots of shaving of the racing surface and whatnot to smooth it out and clean up some of the rougher areas.. The transitions from the original surface to the new surfaces could be interesting.

I'll see you up there as well. I'm getting my R6s mounted tomorrow. I hope to get some dry track, as this will be my first time on them. Otherwise, have some worn MPSCs that prob won't do so well in the wet.
Here's to dry weather!!

Leaving 9AM tomorrow morning with an 8 hour tow. Have some summer tires with me incase the weather man is right but I have never had three days at VIR a complete wash out. Looking forward to the 1st time back in the seat this year.

Not going, but Trj is right. They did an excellend job milling the pavement and I did not notice the transitions. Really sucked when I told a buddy I took 0.83 off my personal best and he said he heard the track was 1-2 seconds faster.
Still prepping for NASA in two weeks. You guys have fun.

Yeah, I'll be leaving ~ 9 am too. Full tread R888s. Look forward to meeting all you guys. And if any of you need shelter from cold, come on by as I've got a heated garage. Rain or shine we'll have fun!
