I have a friend that has one; once they solved its heat problems, it was amazing. 400 hp or something like that, out of a Ford V-6.
I hear that the engine are sometimes built out of re manufactured parts. I realize that the owner can choose between various (and numerous) engine options. is that true (about the re manufactured parts)?

they are fast no doubt but it is the handling that is the most impressive. Lee noble the designer used to tune the lotus chassis so knows a thing or 2 about handling dynamics. TRhey are so well mannered and predictable
