Yeah, showing rain all week. The upside is I have found the 10 day to be off to the late side ie; stuff usually happens earlier then they forecast. Since they are showing rain for the week, it may be past by the time we get there. Otherwise, bring on the wet-n-wild! I had one of my best weekends in the Cup racing in the deluge @ Kansas a few years ago. Two days of solid, torrential rain! What a blast!

Yeah, given the persistent drought, I have my doubts, too.

Bring on the rain. It'll liven things up. Besides, I bought a new set of full tread R888's that I might as well take the stickers off of.

What is their reputation in the rain? We have to run them in Spec Box so I'll have them on either way.

It's still too early to tell about next weekend's weather. One model is showing a chance of rain for at least Thursday into Friday while the other is showing about a zero chance. Both are indicating cooler conditions for the weekend. Hopefully they'll converge on a solution shortly.

The forecast for next weekend is a bit less fuzzy this morning as the two best forecasting models are coming into better agreement. Right now, there seems to be a pretty good chance of rain on Wednesday through Thursday. That rain could be heavy (I believe that the NWS is hesitant to predict the heavier rain event because of the drought). Anyway, if this proves out, the rain should come to an end from north to south by Friday morning. Temps will be closer to seasonal normals. Not too bad for now.
