Agreed. although predicting frontal movements this time of the year is very difficult. If the Wednesday/Thursday front moves though and into the GOM (as one model now suggests), then we should be OK: cool and dry. Unfortunately, the other models are now moving towards stalling the front over Houston or near the coast and produce over-running, low clouds and rain over the northern part of SE TX (i.e. College Station). There's still plenty of time left, but don't put your rain tires away.

I just saw the race groups were posted on the net. Looks like the Spec Box and E’s get to battle it out all to their own, almost. They leap froged the D’s up over them to race with GT cars. That should be interesting…..

Here's the schedule. The spec996 "crew" is planning to be and stay on track whenever the red run group is out. I'll be the guy waving hello to Chris Cervelli each time he passes me.

Oh well, we'll get to practice traffic management all weekend long. Wonder how many laps Chris C. will get on us? Mike, Keith, Carl, Chris et al (all you high horsepower guys), apologies in advance for being a rolling chicane on track!

though I believe we may very well have a wet weekend. I am born and raised here....the one thing i know for sure other than death and taxes....the weather here is unpredictable. Especially this far out.

Forecasts now calling for rain all three days with a break for maybe (timing hard to predict right now) Saturday afternoon. Some could be heavy with thunder. Much cooler with lows in the 40s and highs in the 50s to low 60s. Things could still change, but everyone has pretty much snapped into agreement on this.
