Here are 2 clips from the first 10 minutes or so of the Black enduro. Mike Faems asked Jack Balwin qualify and drive his "E" stock 944S2 for the first half of the race. Jack and I had a pretty good start to the race so I thought I would post it. I didn't have second gear and the ABS wasn't working.
I split it into 2 clips.

Awesome driving Karl. Jack must have hundreds and hundreds of hours at Sebring. And dozens of 12 Hours. Way to go.
Great fun to watch you two hammer on each other. And great fun, though humbling, seeing the Turtle car spend so much time in front of you.
Glad you did so well with your 996 also. Nice win.
I did beat my personal best by 2 seconds, and was hunting down Chris Inglot during the sprint, when I got hit in the right rear turning in for 10, and spun.
And John H, we got to get you into an E car.
Overall, the Turtles did real good at the old bomber base.

Great race!!
Mike, that is kind of like what our old battles were like but at half that speed and 1/5 of the skill!
Watching that video is making me re consider the vacation I have been taking from racing.

Karl, great run man. Awesome job hanging with a very experienced driver. How did the enduro results end up for you?

Thanks Seth. It was definitely one of the more memorable runs I've ever had against anyone. Jack being as experienced as he is made it really special. I finished the race second behind Mark Hupfer in his trusty 79 911 SC.

No, I'm not done with I. The 996 is really fast and is a lot of fun. Going forward I will most likely do the sprint races in the 996 and enduro's in the 944.

Nice vids! I thought you'd lost him when the second of the lappers came through. Good job staying with it and finally getting by (for good, apparently).
