Great car & I've spent some time in the right seat as well. The current owner is very meticulous & a super guy. Somebody is going to get a smokin' deal!

OK I seem to be the originator of the "race cars for sale that cause controversy thread" Remember the RSA in LA that has been for sale foverver thread? That belonged to me as well. Anyway,
JW:
Regarding the LSD and the harnesses; from my notes discussing the car with Bob the shop manager at Ruf while the car was on the lift.
He told me that the rear wheels turned easily by hand indicating an open differential. Therefore in his opinion the car has no LSD. Maybe the car has an LSD that's worn out?
My bad on harnesses and window net. Only the passenger seat harness and window net are expired. The driver's side harness is current but expires in a couple of months. Not much use for the 09' season!

IMHO, the belt angles/geometry of the shoulder belts from the seatback to the termination seem VERY wrong.....spinal compression comes to mind.
They look to be outside normal angles/limits.

I'm just relaying what the owner conveyed to me. I know Bob(the RUF Shop Mgr. you talked to) & Rocky(the car owner) very well. As West said, it's a Torson. No idea on the actual date of the belts, not that it matters much in the big $cheme of things

Your right on the belts, not really $$$ relevant in the scheme of things, especially since the car is a great deal.
With regard to the Torsen Limited Slip; Is this the factory M220 option that was offered when the car was a new for the street ? How effective is it on the track?

I have a quaiffe in my 968 and I understand it is similar to the factory option in design and function. It leaves much to be desired for race applications. We are changing it out for a locking dif this winter. The quaiffe will be for sale soon.
