It took as long to read your post, as it did Seths. In fact, Im going to read it again a few more times! Where did you get that Avitar!!!!!!????
Thanks for the info. Sounds like the Blacks are pretty good and the new Hawk DC series or the Performanc friction PF-01s are the way to go, but Ive heard they are a bit pricey.
I can always try the Blacks and then use the PF's as these items are consumables.
Thanks for the info. I trust you guys and know you push the cars hard.
The pagid ornanges just dont cut it anymore with the car's extra speed. I never had to wish for more braking before, now it is downright uncomfortable.

FWIW, I sucked it up a got a set of Pagid Yellows. They are spendy, so I was expecting something special. Good new is that they are far, far better than Pagid Orange in every respect. They bite nicely, and can be modulated. No sign of the fade problems I was having with the orange pads.
Best news is that they are lasting longer than anything I've tried before. Two race weekends and a DE, and they are barely down to half.

As VR said the DTC 60/70 is a better pad than the HT10/14. I have ran all of these combos in some form of a racecar or another. If you have to go Hawk the DTC series is the only ones to choose from. They are similar to the Pagid Blacks but I did like the Hawks better than the Pagids.
And as I have said over on the GT3 forums many times I still prefer the PFC pads over any of the combos above. I have switched from PFCs to Hawks/Pagids and I always go back to the PFCs. They always seem to last the best down to the backing plates. The performance never changes on them through out their life cycle. They brakes just as well as when you put them on as when you take them off. They are not sensitive to bedding in. PFC just released their newest compound to the public, the PFC 06. We ran these at the 13 Hour of VIR. With new pads starting with qualifying, we ran the same set the whole race on the E36 BMW. When we were finished there was still about half a pad left. The stopping of the PFC 06 on the car was very similar to the performance of the 01s we run on the World Challenge cars and my GT3. They are easier on the rotors than the 01s and they last a long time. I would personally look into them as I think you will like them
