Orca Trailer by Peter Brock
At the risk of doing anything that might remotely smack of starting a towing thread:
Has anyone seen one of these in the flesh?

A really different design by an automotive engineering legend. Maybe a design for our times...

Interesting...
I guess if you had a SUV (i.e. marginal tow vehicle) and wanted to tow your racecar securely this would probably be your best bet.
It would be difficult to carry alot of "stuff" in there but that might just suit some people.

Looks like a good minimalist design. Always wondered what you do if the trailer is pointed downhill when you load it in something like that (that require a winch to pull it in)? What stops it from going forward?

That looks really nice. I can't understand how you walk the car in with one hand on the steering wheel though, as there does not seem to be enough room inside to walk along the side of the car. It would be perfect for towing a 911 with an SUV like my Touareg.

Thanks - this is just down the road from me. Will definately take a look since I am a relative minimalist

states room for a "set" of tires. I carry two sets, one rain, one spare dry. I am going to take a look though as it is about 2 miles from my house.

Cool design, reminds me of the pop up trailer my parents had for camping.
I wonder how the weight, drag and cost compare to the enclosed Trailex?
Brandon, Is this for the new formula race car?

BTW: last summer I saw what was an open alum. trailer that had a fiberglass cover kinda like the Snowmobile trailers have. That looks like an even better option than the Orca. Anyone know more info on that trailer? I saw one of those used for around $4k.

that trailer looks nice, but it looks like its more for show cars, i think a trailex open trailer with the tire rack and room for tools and spares may be a better deal

LOL Bingo! Strange place to advertise a high-end trailer, I think more of the welded homebuilt special, but there you have it. To me it looks like the perfect DE trailer to tow behind an SUV like Mike says. For serious racing where you'd like a home away from home, I'd like more headroom. But A++ design props...
