Roll Call TWS 12/6

I just realized--we're arguing over times at a DE, and we're not supposed to be even timing at a DE... I'll bow out of this one now.

Well, I agree. Once you get to a certain level, data acquisition is a way to measure improvements.

That was me, Thought I was in 4th and couldn't figure out why, when I'm near redline, that I have a train behind me and the corner workers are frantically waiving the passing flag. the right gear took care of things.

It is funny how I seem to have really struck a nerve with the under-23 year old peanut gallery, however.
News flash, little boys: I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else. I realize stopwatch times are not absolute, but it is what it is. The guy with the watch showed me the splits...so who knows? Ryan, as I have told you many times, the M3 is not a street car, nor has it been for over a year. Sorry about your small *****, however.
Desiree, it's nice to see you in this thread!

I drove like **** and still ran right at 2:00. Had to let out alot for two people. here's the video. -very poor quality though. I definately need alot of work looking at this video. (entry speeds suck) But, VR is that fast. Sorry if some of you have a hard time thinking someone could actually be faster than you.. Weaksauce.

I basically went back and torqued each bolt. Pays to do your own work. Viking saved my bacon by noticing a loose toe link while I was teaching yellow class.
Anyway, got things sorted out. Put on the R888's + new brake pads and went out. Car was good, but I drove about 80% just to be safe. Came in and rechecked every bolt/nut. Sunday softened my shocks and drove 3 sessions. Loved that car. Took Todd out and drove about 90% or so. I have no problem running sub 2:00 laps in that car and should be able to get below 1:55's, it's that balanced.
I'm just thankful that I drove my car up on street tires otherwise I would have never found out about the suspension. Hate to think what might have happened. I had some toe changes but I'll get that fixed next weekend.
Next DE we'll go for a spin. Maybe even hit an Apex!!

Cool! Yeah, Spec996's should be able to get down there with some work.
Bruce, very nice meeting you. Sorry we didn't get to do that lead/follow, but let's try to do it next time, if you are interested.

Like I told Mike, I see you guys in the :52-:53 range. The hp you guys have over the Boxes (185 vs. 300) should more then offset the additional few hundred pounds especially at a track like TWS. That's also around midway between my :46 in the '00 Cup & Steve's :56 in the Box which sounds about right. I think you guys will be VERY happy once you get them dialed in
J
PS: I also can see some very cool Enduro co-drive possibilities in a couple years since you guys will be running in the other run group from us.

Plus, isn't the 996 body more aerodynamic at high speeds than the Coxter?
