I attended this DE and was impressed by the track and by the way the event was run by the Coastal Bend Region PCA....thanks guys! Its a fun track with some interesting elevation changes. Currently there is a maximum sound level restriction (there is some nearby residential) which supposedly precludes cars without mufflers. There were however a few cars that were a "bit loud" and "racy looking" on the track this last weekend. Maybe there is some wiggle room on the noise.
I had a great time at the event and will attend others at Harris Hill Road in the future. It would be worth checking it out yourself. I have heard that Hill Country PCA is planning a late January DE at Harris Hill Road.....should be fun. Thanks to Michael Paton for giving me a track orientation.....a big help.

Yep, fantastic four: event, people, track, and weather. It was my first time there and my first opportunity to sort out a track without an instructor giving me a line to drive. And only 45 minutes from home!
Did the final time trial actually take place? It looked like it was going to take quite a bit of time to clean the track after that Z06 dropped oil, so I went home and still was able to get a date night with my beautiful wife.
If anyone is inclined to organize an event there, I'd like to attend.

The time trial was run....eventually....in the blinding setting sun. We had to feel our way around certain corners which made things pretting interesting.
