Default ALMS at Laguna Seca

Anybody going to the ALMS at Laguna Seca this weekend?

I'm planning to head on down, and wanted to see if there will be some listers there.

Also, since I've never been there, what is the best place to sit to see the action? And is the hospitality/paddock pass worth the extra cost?

I'll be there.

I think that T4 and the Corkscrew are the best places to watch

The paddock pass is definitely worth it if you are into checking out the cars up close and personal. If you like high tech cars do it. I think the paddock access is one of the best things about ALMS.

Another good spot to watch is on the hill above turn 2, you can see from turn 1 all the way up the hill and there is a lot of action in turns 2 and 3.

Have fun!

I'll be there too. I'll be in the grey 993 with Texas plates. Now I just have to drive 1600 miles to get there.

I'll be there, my 7th event this year (Sebring, St Pete, Lime Rock, Mid-Ohio, Detroit, Petit Le Mans and Laguna). Flying to SFO in the AM and heading to Yosemite first, then to the track on Thursday.

The P2 and GT2 crowns being clinched at Petit takes some of the lustre off the show (P1 and GT1 crowns were clinched long ago), but it's still a very unique track in a beautiful location with great weather. Should be fun!

I'll be there with my 6 year old son. He's been to 2 of the past ALMS races at LS.

You can sit on the hill above T2. They have beer stands up there!
