Yes, I believe that Brian is referring to doing this at a PCA Club Race event.

The longest enduros I've run have been 60 minutes, which IMO is hardly an enduro at all. I'd love to do a 2-3 hour enduro solo.

I know lots of people share driving duties in 90 minute enduros, but I'm not sure if I'm up for having someone else drive my car and not sure if I want to drive someone else's car. I've driven other people's cars at speed on the track and I always held back due to the issue of responsibility and timely compensation. If I wrecked my car at the track, I could take as long as I wanted to before my car had to turn a wheel in anger again. If I wrecked a friend's car, I would feel obligated to fix the car immediately or cover the costs to do so.
My issues as well.

For those that want a written agreement, perhaps the organizing body could supply a standard agreement for interested car owners and drivers. There isn't something like this out there (to my knowledge) and may take away a barrier affecting participation. Agreement is between driver and owner. Org body is not party to it.

All this being said, I'm used to doing a 90 minute enduro solo. The thought of a 3 hr enduro with one driver change is really no different (except for having to bring more fuel to pit lane).

Can you explain how they work? I assume that you run them as an individual in your own car?

I said their team, not my team!

A long enduro sure sounds like fun. How about a nice 2 hour stint behind the wheel to test your mental focus and physical fitness.? Count me in!

I hope to do the 6 hour Koni challenge at VIR in early October, I am still looking for another co-driver (2 hours each). We will run a winning car, the orange BGB 911 that won at the Glen. Anyone interested please email asap.

Mike,

I would in a heart beat, but between coaching my kids soccor team, the new puppy coming next week, and my family obligations, its not in the cards this time. Keep us in the loop for future opportinities!
