No - too many unknowns if the car breaks down while the co-driver is running

I would really like to see pca add a 4 to 6 hour race to the schedule of one of the larger events (road America, wg, ....)
Would be exciting.

How do you convince the "big dogs" to co-drive with the "little dogs?"....
The teams would be made up of either veterans or rookis...
Probably not too much competition...
But I would partecipate..

Sure - have done a couple of six hour, and three 25 hour races. Herr Perfessur Helmut-Testor has done more than any of us can count, though - he's got the rest of us weenies beat.

I know lots of people share driving duties in 90 minute enduros, but I'm not sure if I'm up for having someone else drive my car and not sure if I want to drive someone else's car. I've driven other people's cars at speed on the track and I always held back due to the issue of responsibility and timely compensation. If I wrecked my car at the track, I could take as long as I wanted to before my car had to turn a wheel in anger again. If I wrecked a friend's car, I would feel obligated to fix the car immediately or cover the costs to do so.
If I were driving a rent-a-car, I'd feel much differently about a long enduro.
