Rebound Adjustment

This is the sort of thing that Seth and I help with routinely when we do private coaching. Think about what Seth said above: if you soften front rebound, under hard throttle, the front will be more prone to lifting up and unweighting more quickly (all other things being equal). This will generally lead to understeer. By firming up front rebound, the front will not rise as fast under hard throttle, and thus you will have more front grip for a longer time.
Well,
I *think* it makes sense. I get the idea, but I will need spend time thinking it throuhg to translate that to other places on the track. One though is I guess that the unloaded end is one where the rebound works most.
Ie - Acceleration puts load on the rear lifting the front so front rebound is critical and rear rebound has limited impact.
Whereas - braking and turn in puts load on the front lifting the rear so rear rebound is critical and front rebound has a minimal impact.

BTW, when you get that rebound, etc. set up just right for that problem turn that you are likely thinking of, let us know how the car reacts in the 10 other, different turns on the track (just to add to the complexity).

Actually you are not off the mark here. Many drivers brake way too hard and ruin their entry speed. I have found that at just about every track that I have been to, there are really only a couple of places where you need to crush the brakes. Otherwise, a gentle press, even if a little longer will keep your car more balanced and allow for greater entry speeds.
