I was over at Wine Country Wednesday (IRL testing @ Sears, was passing by so I stopped in). The guy at the counter was talking to another customer and said they've had trouble stocking them and they found some extra footage to include?

It was announced for a release late last year but has been pushed back over and over. I imagine Wine Country ordered long ago and have never been able to get them, hence the comment about stocking.

I do recall one comment about adding footage, but I think the bottom line is that it took was longer to edit than they imagined. I am really excited to finally see it. Those cars still send shivers down my spine. They are beautiful and exciting POS'. I say POS because of their terrible brakes and cornering, by today's standards, combined with their huge raw speed.

Yeah.........the difference from the 910 to the Radical is huge. And the 910 feels pretty safe since it has a pedestrian 2.7L engine. The explosiveness of a huge V-8? Way more than my skill level ever would have been!

I think that's what Mark meant by "cornering". Driven old bias plys? They're really not that bad. As long as you know how to drive them..........

Hey, wait a minute. My Stohr ran on bias ply tires.

All kidding aside, yes the tires sucked. There is a story about Jim Hall working at the GM proving grounds on early aero stuff and how they managed to see an AMAZING 1.0 g's

I've only driven them on street cars, like a 400hp big block Corvette (fully restored). Hit the gas the car steers right, hit the brakes it goes left. So yea, once you get used to that, not all that bad

Actually, the brakes aren't bad. I had the opportunity a few years back to drive an early-generation McLaren at Roebling. It was actually an extremely well balanced car in a lot of ways. Part of that was a result of having a small block motor IMO. I think the later ones, with the big blocks, had the same brakes, so they were probably a bit overmatched by the higher HP.

I have been waiting since last year too. Can't wait to finally see the "good old days" again!

Biased ply tires were the least of the problems in those days.
