Dell if you have a pefectly set up GT3 with Motons why would you build out a 996 with Motons? is it just because there isn't enough competition in J class?

The fields in J are pathetic. Not many entrants in J as mostly have moved up to a Cup or down to a car that has a large field.

I built my GT3 to just have a blast at DE but the more and more I developed whatever talent I have, racing talk kept creeping into every conversation I would have with people....."why don't you go racing?" So fine, time to go racing!

I have no doubt I will get another GT3 in the near future but right now it's time to start that next chapter.

Locally its tough. Mo kinda rules the field in J, and is bored. It seems like a class where you should either move up to a cup, or come down to G or H.

We're still trying to talk Mo into G. Mo - are you listening?

Dell - G or H.... come to Road America.

I'm intrigued by the cars that Rick has built for you guys. They are so much more develped that the Spec Box class and must be a blast to drive.

I tried a set of 245 R888's yesterday on 8-1/2" rims up front to go with our 255's in teh rear. We normally run 225's on 7" rims. The difference was monumental, it really transformed the Boxster. Since this is an inexpensive modification ( the tires are actually cheaper) I'm hoping we'll get this changed for next year's spec.

PS: I blew my tranny in the afternoon. It just stopped working in 1st or 2nd....

No matter how you look at it, blowing a tranny is never a good thing.
