DE added to Schattenbaum Club Race at NJMP Lightning
Schattenbaum Region is now including an advanced-only (non-instructed) Drivers Ed run group at the Club Race at NJMP Lightning track on Sept 12-14.
Entrants will get about 4 30-minute sessions per day. We expect the DE run group to fill up quickly, so please register soon.
Obviously, no Club Race entrant will be permitted to drive in the DE run group.
Registration forms are on the DE page at www.schattenbaum.org

To clarify-
There will be 4 or 5 DE sessions per day (currently planning 5 on Fri., 4 on Sat., and 5 on Sun.) and each session will be 25-30 minutes.
Lots of track time.

The PCA Club Race will be held on the Lightning Course. The advanced DE sessions will be intermixed with the PCA races.
On the same weekend, the Lightning 250 Mazda Formula Zoom Zoom Race will be held on Thunderbolt. This is a chance to see great races on both tracks and drive your car in DE.

I just got the email from schattenbaum confirming this sounds like some guys should come out and check it out
I'm sending you this e-mail since I have you in our driver's ed database
as an advanced driver. Schattenbaum region is hosting a PCA club race
weekend at the new Lightning race track here in Millville NJ. We have
decided to include one 40 driver DE rungroup in conjunction with the
club race. This will be for advanced (solo) drivers only.
The dates of the event are Sep 12-14. There will be 5 sessions per day
of 25 minutes. Longer sessions on Sunday. If you have ever wanted to
attend a PCA club race here is your chance to watch the races then hop
in your car for a few laps as well.
In addition to the clubrace there will be a Mazda series pro race going
on over at the Thunderbolt circuit, so if you get tired of watching the
club racers you can wander over to the other track and see some pros at
work.
The cost for this event is $400 for the three day DE weekend.
Individual days are $175 per day, but priority will be given to drivers
that register for all three days.

Great chance to see club racing and get a lot of track time in the same weekend at a track that's a lot closer than any other track we've been to from our area. The price is great and no student to instruct only time to enjoy...
