Got the same email, but be careful...the NJMP regulations (link in Pete's email) say the track is open 'til 7:00pm, BUT those dropping trailers must arrive between 5:30 - 630pm in order to give the staff time to close up by 7:00pm. Further, the NJMP regs state that we MAY be able drop trailers, depending on the group who has rented the track on the drop day. It further says to check with track personnel to be certain you can drop on a particular day.

 

Thanks Bob, I just wrote to Pete to be sure of the times for drop-off. If he isn't sure I hope some nice local guy calls the track and posts it here.

 

Don't know any nice local guys. I plan to check later in the week though.

Ok Steve - I'm good for a few pounds of hot/mild/chlorizo/etc. sausages and Portuguese rolls to get us started.. maybe a couple pounds of buffalo burgers too.

I am ariving on sunday night for a trailer drop. Staying at the comfort inn for the 2 days

 

I'll be driving down Monday morning with my Cayman #6. Reviewing the NJ regs, I noticed that if you work on your car that you have to have your pants on and no tank tops in the pits.
