Mike-
This is a great video about track ettiquette and track awareness. Nice to see.
Don-
He does look slow on the video but when he crests the hill on the back straight I can gaurantee you he's going alot faster than you or me !!
Nice driving Mike.

Thanks for the compliments guys...
What's wierd is I was going slower on the back straight than I normally would, and I ran faster times. Normally I'd drop it into 6th and see higher MPH and then have to haul it down hard, which would scrub to much time and cause me issues with 14/14a/15! The "wow" factor of seeing 175-180 on the digital display is cool, but slow!

500HP, not 5000!!!
Hard enough keeping that much planted, couldn't imagine more...
Seriously, I'm killing the outside edges of my tires big time and I'm in the middle of trying to resolve that issue now. I wish I had the handling of a GT3!!

Way to rub it in my face (and Mike)!!!!
Hmmmmm, handling of a GT3 and power (actually more) of a TT. Oh that's right, that would be a GT2. Is there an smiley face that shoots the bird cuz right about now I need one.

Burning Brakes
You guys suck. I'm stuck in 1980. Mind you, my car, at 180 hp flywheel, was the highest hp car available in the US in 1980. The Corvette had 175.
180 mph on the backstraight? I'd need a diaper!

Mike, do you have data acquisition to confirm that? I see 155 on the back straight at the MOST and that is IF the air is cool, my exit speed at Oak tree is 45-50, I bang through all the gears at the top, and I brake as late as allowable by the laws of physics. FYI...the speedo is not even close to accurate at these triple digit speeds.

170 in the GT2 I can most certainly believe with those monster turbo's spooling up down the back straight. I agree, looking down at that pace is NOT something I care to do Hence, the reason I have data acquisition so I can know what the REAL number is when I am curious about certain speeds, etc..
