Why do you think VR was asked to reopen the thread. And with this we go to page 9.

Just because it was re-opened:

I read it all and I still think the same I posted on page 3:

Entertaining to watch, but reality is that it is sooo dangerous. If i was a witness to that driving in my group, I would complain and go home, not worth it.

I was collected once on the track, not much fun when the damage is done by a maroon!
It does not mean that it is fault though and it does not help him much to make fun of or to try and teach him how to drive.

All beginners think they can drive somewhat and they all wanna go fast. It takes an instructor for a minimum of 3 events for anyone to become safe, and for many much longer.

I put the risks on the organization, he should not have been allowed to drive solo yet.

What timing.....I was just thinking of putting together a blooper tape of my various offs over the past year since I've been shooting video to include other drivers stunts (and crashes) in front of me that I've caught. I think I'll just keep it to myself. Wouldn't have been the first time I had made an *** out of myself on the www.

VR, you need sensitivity training.

This little incident occurred at the same event and yes, my driving is quite craptastic.

The SRF was almost ran over...

That's a no passing zone at PCA events. I'm assuming that the SRF started the pass without a point-by from the car in front of him, & then that car decided to pass without realizing the SRF was next to him? That's what it looks like to me.

NASA allows passes without a point by in their Time Trial group...if it's safe. It's a no passing zone with every other organization I've ran with also, but everyone else saw the SRF the entire weekend.
