Entertaining to watch, but reality is that it is sooo dangerous. If i was a witness to that driving in my group, I would complain and go home, not worth it.

I was collected once on the track, not much fun when the damage is done by a maroon!

NASA is like a box of chocolates...
+1! I have driven a few different NASA groups and 1 was very unsafe and disorganised, I left half way during the first day, while others are pretty good.

I cringed, you could tell the guy had no understanding of what bad things could have happened. I don't understand the density of some folks - can you not stop and think that you might not be as good as you think you are - slow the F down.

I hope that idiot never ventures forth to tracks like Watkins Glen, Mosport, etc. At most tracks he would be gone after his first mistake, with the car in a set of trash bags.

I wonder if he forgets to brake while driving on the street.

Yes, I agree. A track with walls might change his mind on this "Hobby of ours". I can see him now on a track like Laguna Seca, he wouldn't last a session.

The most amazing thing about this guy is that he took his on board video and posted it for all to see. Truly amazing stuff.

Here is a post for the "shoe"

Hmm. I wondered where all the comments were suddenly coming from. If you don't mind, please link back to the original threads. I'd be amused to see the comments there. I'm sure most of them are posted by people that have never been on a road course.
However, this is an HPDE event. The last E stand for Education... and I'm trying to learn by doing. I don't claim to be F1 material. Even F1 drivers (Hamilton) have "offs".

Nope, no road course experience by posters in this forum.

Not a surprising reply given this guy's driving.

Ask him why he does not have an instructor in his right seat, if he is so hooked on "learning".

BOOOO!!! He's removing comments from his Google Vids page.

Someone who removes negative feedback ALWAYS screams "willing to learn" to me.
