As we wish you were coming. OTOH, with all this feasting, the added weight is sure to result in even slower lap times, so perhaps its for the best. 'sides the forecast is looking none to good for BBQ, let alone driving. I remain optimistic however.

We wish you were going too George. We will raise a glass of beer in your honor each afternoon after the track has cleared.

RE the grillout, I'll bring whatever we need too. I may bring some...brace yourself...veggie burgers for those, like me, with elevated Cholesterol. Will the owner of the grill let me cook those or some turkey brats????

My rig is also always loaded with beer. It is a pickup truck after all.

See you guys tomorrow night at the track.

BTW, I just realized that the Seneca Lodge was not the bar under the Glenn Motor Inn. I guess I have never been there, as I'm usually at the GMI.

Still tying up loose ends here and there are already at least two on the road already. The trash talking about the track seems to have migrated to the cullinary world.

my buddy's wife is a vegan, so occassionally we'll put her "food" onto the grill. We usually make her triple wrap it in foil so as not to ruin the grill for the rest of us carnivore's.

And Paolo, my grill is a decent size, but it never hurts to have some add'l space.

It never rains on me at The Glen so just pretend I'm there.

OK, I have got 6 pounds of marinated steak tips for Friday and 40 Italian sausages (1/2 hot and 1/2 sweet) with peppers and onions for Sat.

Not sure how far that will go or how many people will show up, but it is a start...... any Vegan are welcomed of course, I just have nothing personally prepared for them......

It should be a good time, bring your appetite and anythingelse we can throw on the barbies or drink.......

Goodhands and Streak, are you joining us?

Now........ any more driving "trash talk"?......

You know, that is the real reason we are there......
