We'll just tell the host/hostesss about the GTG. Beyond that I don't think it'll be too difficult to spot a bunch of Porschephiles

I'll be up there !
How will we know for sure? My biggest concern is being stuck in traffic and then finding out there's no parking. :/

Traffic in Montreal is nothing like traffic in Manhattan, don't worry about it.

Errr, exactly how bad is this car theft problem? Maybe I should just fly up there for the GP instead of driving the P-car ... we're staying near the Dorval airport area.

Not worse than big metro areas in the USA. Use your head and you'll be fine.

Montreal is the car theft capital of NA. park in secure parking lot like hotel etc. and you will be fine. Oh and every local thinks they are qualifying when driving on the streets

I got my Cayenne stolen from the Sheraton Centreville parking lot February 2 years ago... the valet took it for a joyride and was stopped by the police when they saw him trying to use the car in tiptronic mode at 3am... So no matter where you park, don't thing you will be safe.

That is correct. A lot has changed in the last few yrs. Big concerts and no room to walk anymore on crescent .

I was wondering how it works? Can you simply park there at say 8am until the end of the race? I wouldn't want my car getting towed or vandalized.
